The detection of a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of over .08 percent will result in a 90 day suspension of your Texas driver’s license; or the refusal of a breath or blood test will result in the loss of your driver’s license for 180 days. In addition, a person under the age of 21 who has any detectable amount of alcohol in his or her system IS subject to a 60 driver’s license suspension.
